Review 1
The place is cute, but really an uncomfortable silence when you walk in. They don't even bother to acknowledge your presence, and act like it is an imposition to have to serve you. THEN the owner proceeds to gossip about the people in this town, particularly about this one guy, who it seemed to me when he spoke of him, he gave his wife or girlfriend the stink-eye about. I don't want to come here and hear you air your dirty laundry.

For as long as this bakery have been in operation I have been aware of and been witness to many blunders and inadequacies this owner commits to continually deceive his clientèle. As far as I read, within these reviews I see many examples confirming !

I knew it would be a matter of time before the lovely people of Agua Dulce recognize that they made a mistake allowing this guy to open up a bakery in their town. The health department should be called to get that place shut down. It is an eye sore. He has a history of running communities down. Watch out for this guy he is a scoundrel!

Wouldn't waste my time or money on this place! The food and baked goods are horrible not to mention the cleanliness of the employees and facility. I was horrified when I walked to the back area of the bakery and noticed mounds of dog poop in the area where they cook the kabobs.

Sandwiches are never the same, there always slightly different, no consistency. Entire place seems dirty, and I don't think I've ever seen the owner wash his hands.
Review 6
When this bakery moved into our little town I think everyone was excited. It has, however, not lived up to expectations. Coffee is decent but the majority of baked goods seem less than fresh.
THEN, I sit at a little tall table, and I'm by myself, and the table has 2 chairs...the owner sits in the chair across from me, opens his laptop and starts typing away...It was like getting on an elevator with just you and one other person and that person stands so close you are almost touching....weird!
Plus like the other reviewer, he never washed his hands after handling money, or scratching his face.
I won't be back. One star, just cause the place is cute, but also because if you leave a review here, you can't give zero stars..
Hannah M. "scoundrel" ? So encompassing.
J.J. your palette = correct . " Less than fresh" and unsanitary.
John B. don't worry your wife is not the first . he'll hardly bother with you unless he sees an advantage,a opportunity, to secure financial gain from knowing you.
Note: i considered reviewing yesterday after reading these posted reviews.
One not here today that was up yesterday read ,to the effect of: while waiting for our food we walked around to the back yard to see he was cooking the Kabobs on an old barbecue, there were dogs running around and piles of "FECES" in the area.
He does have at least 3 dogs.
Ok here it is!
Ready?
1. His pies, cakes, pastries and breads are bought frozen from restaurant depot in Van Nuys ca. The only thing he bakes are cinnamon rolls.
2. One of his tools he uses in decorating cakes is a toothpick he holds in his mouth.
3. He owes multiple suppliers money he'll never pay. This, the reason he goes to restaurant depot.
4.He pockets the sales tax.
5. He is a Master manipulator. Please regard this as "FACT". Please don't let him fool you. He's good ! If he ever offers you a business opportunity you "TURN AND RUN".
It's turned into kind of an "everything" kind of place. Although I give kudos to the owner for attempting to boost his clientele by expanding the menu options but I'm just not thinking kabobs go with cupcakes and coffee.
The place looks a mess. The exterior decor has fallen into disrepair, the plants are overgrown and dead and frequently the parking lot is occupied with more of the owner's vehicles with "for sale" signs on them then patrons.
Unfortunately, it's exterior is not the worst of it. After placing an order and the owner taking the money, he went on to prepare the food without washing or sanitizing his hands. Maybe a refresher course in food sanitation would be helpful.
